PLUCKED

Velvet brown figs splitting shyly expose pink
Grape clusters dangling, delicate ripe jewels
Blackberries glisten, hang softly waiting

Gently grasp the fruit's fullness
Tenderly tug with a slight twisting motion
till just the right moment comes to pull
releasing the perfectly plucked fruit.

The juice licked off my hand satisfies.

You tell me you know the feeling.
